Åland island’s provincial government opposes final depository to be located in Eurajoki’s Olkiluoto according to Ilta-Sanomat.

The provincial government’s statement says copper capsules are not as safe as previously assumed and refers to a Swedish study that reports that copper can rust away in the depths that are planned for the nuclear waste to be deposited.
