 Senior Manager, Plant Asset Management


We are strengthening our Information Management (IM) Department and Information Management Development Unit. Fennovoima Information Management Department's mission is to ensure that in Fennovoima, information technology and information management services are used according to the most efficient and secure practices. We are responsible for developing and providing the organization with the devices, networks, systems, applications, and services needed for the daily operations. 

About the position

As a Senior Manager for Plant Asset Management, you are responsible of leading Plant Asset Management Unit within IM Department. Plant Asset Management Unit is responsible for developing and operating information management systems supporting engineering, construction, and operations of Hanhikivi-1 nuclear power plant.

You will work closely with the Fennovoima business units in order to understand their requirements, manage the business demand for plant asset management services and applications, analyze the business process flows and identify possible application and IM service solutions. You are supported in your work by IM Department management, IM Project Portfolio Manager, IM Solution Architect, other IM service owners, process responsible persons and technical specialists. You will be part of Fennovoima IM leadership team.

Your tasks include e.g.

  • Leading of Plant Asset Management Unit 
  • Leading of Plant Asset Management development projects and services
  • Leading teams consisting of both internal and external resources
  • Stakeholder management; both internal and external project stakeholders
  • Financial and contract management for Plant Asset Management Unit
  • Supplier and vendor management of Plant Asset Management Unit

Ideal candidate for this position has

  • Education: relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree 
  • At least 5-10 years’ experience in similar tasks
  • Strong project and team leading skills and experience
  • Ability to understand and manage large and complex entities
  • Experience in managing both large and small IM service providers
  • Active, systematic, co-operative, initiative and security-oriented way of working
  • Experience from engineer data management and/or enterprise asset management solutions
  • Language skills: advanced in English both verbally and in writing
