Construction site visits

Fennovoima arranges a public event at the Hanhikivi 1 construction site once a year. This event is open to anyone interested in the project.

Public events

The next Hanhikivi 1 public event and construction site tour will be arranged on autumn 2020.

Fennovoima also arranges a variety of events in Pyhäjoki for residents of the municipality and anyone else interested in the Hanhikivi 1 project. At these events, we offer information about nuclear power and latest news about the Fennovoima project. For more information on future events, please see the event calendar.

If you are arranging an event where you would like Fennovoima to present the project, please contact us. Visitors groups are also welcome at our Pyhäjoki office.

To return to the atmosphere of the latest public event, you can watch this video or look at the photos in the photo gallery

Construction site visits for the media

Representatives of the media can also visit the construction site on the Hanhikivi peninsula. We will be happy to tell you more about the progress of the project and the latest developments at the construction site. If you wish, we can also arrange you a project presentation where you can learn more about Fennovoima, the Hanhikivi 1 project, and Pyhäjoki.

To arrange a visit, please contact the communications team at Fennovoima’s Pyhäjoki office. You can find the contact information here

Fennovoima’s safety and photography guidelines must be followed during all construction site visits. You will learn more before your visit. Details of all the visitors must be submitted to Fennovoima at the latest two days prior to the agreed visit. An employee of Fennovoima will accompany the visitors at all times.

A variety of brochures and other publications about the project are available at our office. Furthermore, we can assist the media in contacting any other parties involved in the project at the construction site or elsewhere.
