Fennovoima’s Board of Directors has nominated Philippe Bordarier as Fennovoima’s new Chief Operating Officer (COO). He will start working at Fennovoima on April 1st.
Philippe Bordarier has previously worked in different roles at Electricité de France with his last position there as Chief Transformation Officer, EDF Nuclear Engineering. Before that Bordarier had worked at Eramet, French Ministry of Industry and Nuclear Safety Authority. He holds a PhD degree in Physics.
Bordarier has a versatile experience in nuclear plant operation, project management and regulatory activities. During his career, he managed operation of acting nuclear power plants, a new build program and nuclear engineering and supply chain.

The COO of Fennovoima has a substantial role in supporting the CEO in company planning and operations. Among other things, Bordarier’s main responsibilities will include management of company operations, cooperation with the Supplier, development of company’s management system, long-term planning and reporting.
